Electrical System Overview
The vehicle electrical system is made out of several sub-systems that work together to give a vehicle the spark it needs to continue to run. A powerful computer called the engine control unit (ECU) monitors and controls the electrical system, as well as the fuel and emission control system. It also controls valve timing. The structures that underpin the vehicle electrical system do the following;

Ignition system: provides power to the spark plugs, which ignite the fuel to combust to generate power to run the engine
