Hitech is the first tuner workshop to release a stable ECU remap for the new 2.8 Toyota Diesel Engine. Our technicians are able to remap any diesel common rail engine and petrol with different mods. What is Diesel Tuning & Remap?

Diesel Tuning Remap is a re-flash of the engine management system which installs new software to change the operating parameters of the engine. Our Diesel Tuning software will alter parameters including throttle position, Fuel duration, boost pressures, torque limiters, boost limiters, fuel pressure limiters and many more. Diesel Tuning and Remapping has become a very popular over the last 15 years as the modern diesel engine has become fully electronic and therefore able to receive Turbo Diesel engine tuning and ECU Remapping.

Why don't manufacturers offer a Remap Service?

You will probably be surprised to discover that the vehicle manufacturers often modify the mapping of their ECU's for marketing reasons. They do this to differentiate between models and vehicles specifications. For example, with the same engine often being fitted to numerous models of vehicle there has to be a performance difference between their low-specification, regular and "sports" models. This is frequently achieved by de-tuning the cheaper models. Manufacturers also have to comply with very strict emissions requirements and tests that are performed to meet Australia testing parameters, witch often means that a vehicle rpm the engine output is deliberately held-back to pass these tests.
